Baby Barry probs

Reeling through TV this week-

GOTHAM
Penguin- YOLO, right?
Jim- Illuminati, buddy, watch your back.
Bruce- *falling to his knees like Doctor Strange* Teach me!
Evil Bruce- Wait, I thought *I*...
Ivy- *calmly composting bodies into her breakfast cereal*
Harvey Bullock- can't facepalm any harder than that man over and over and over
Barbara- dem shooz, gurl!
Butch- YOLO (oopsie)

THE FLASH
*Cecile untangling the whole mess of info dumping into her lap*- Y'all know this could be solved real quick if you'd just go knock off Baby Barry...
*Killer Frost upon discovering the plans to knock off Baby Barry*- I'ma go tell Savitar on youz guyz
Iris- Gimme a minute... *weighs Barry mess against having Eddie back, her family safe, and getting to live*
Vibe and HR- Sorry buddy, we couldn't argue with that.

Doc McStuffins
Pickles- I'm in a yard sale!
The gang- We'll save you by sewing on a green button for your nose!
Pickles- Yay, I'm saved!

That's about it, I haven't seen much more than that so far this week.

I made a Thunderbird monument on a red sandstone plateau in Mo Creatures though. Yes, a copy from Kai's realm world. Real diamond, gold, and redstone blocks mostly all mined from scratch. I finally got tired of waiting and bought the last 3 or 4 blocks' worth.

I've got this cd. This music played in my mind the whole time I was making that.

actually

Ok, just everybody stop for a second.

You mean to tell me that yesterday's little bitty giggle not only shot to the *top* of my most viewed this month, but got me followed by an L.A. realtor on twitter?

I defy anyone to tell me Pinky blog is an egocentric waste of time. And the Rick Lagina hits are rolling in from the post before that, so there you go. Y'all know I don't sell ad space, but some of you totes know I could.

So I figured out the html mess that started happening as I was tightening up my tag cloud is a security certificate problem. Now that blogger has gone https, it halts anything hotlinked that isn't https, so me clicking 'fix' every time an html error notification pops up is only screwing it up. I need to click 'dismiss'. The past posts I didn't realize I was screwing up probably look like they're sitting on an abandoned blog or something because some of the graphics are now empty boxes. Thanks, blogger.

At least I don't have to move and rehost content, glad I never jumped on that. All I have to do is just retrace my steps taking little s's out of jpg links.

I can hardly believe I'm saying this, but I think I've lost my fondness for brownies, and possibly even cookies. I stopped buying Rice Chex (my last consistently allergy cleared cereal) about 3 months ago, and I think the last time I'd made brownies was around or before Labor Day weekend. I'm so used to not heading to the carbs any more that it doesn't make sense to keep them on hand. Well, I made brownies yesterday and they're kind of just sitting there... So- yay, me, for what it's worth. I'm even starting to get tired of tortilla chips when I eat nachos. I just don't feel that great eating them, even when I hold the carb count way down.

Yes, you remember, right, I was the one who was always making those cool holiday themed chocolate meringue pies... Been forever since I made one of those, too. Don't miss them at all. *checking to see if I'm skinny yet*

In 2 months it'll be 6 years since I first learned I'm diabetic. Or like the austism spectrum people are doing, #actuallydiabetic. (Oh, wow, that's really a thing, nice.) ( #actuallyautistic must have copied that.) (Here- actually- urban dictionary.) (Forbidding self to spontaneously go on deep web expedition to find out who first hashtagged actually into a phrase.) Not just prediabetic, we skipped that whole thing. I should have been dx'd prediabetic 15 or 20 years ago. Big fail on past doctors throwing anxiety pills and pain meds at me, thanx. Anyway, I'm *actually* snubbing brownies now and working like a banshee, keeping up with Bunny stuff and mostly not skidding too far into the brain fog these days.

Yesterday was a play day, mostly just ignored all the chores and hung out, so today is a big catching up day. ALL the dishes, ALL the laundry, and things already laid out for getting menus done up ahead. Thrilled seeing Oswald springing Edward out of the looney bin last night. Yes, Nygmobblepot is the fan smash (lots more without the smash, too). I love fans. I love these guys. I love that this speaks to so many viewers who have real problems in real life. I don't talk a lot about Gotham, but my people know who they are.

the hunt is on

March is coming in like a lion that fell into a river- very damp and a little miffed at the inconvenience.

My biggest challenge in minecraft this week will be hunting down a squid for an ink sac so I can create a book and quill to write in. They're everywhere in the realm, haven't found one in multiplayer out of five biomes so far. While I was inside moving mountains this last weekend, @bonenado was outside working on his Wall of Scott.

That's a 20+ year project originally intended to become a retaining wall, but has turned into more of an exercise in perfection as it keeps getting torn back down and reassembled, even after it's been cemented in place. He's got awesome thighs, I'm not complaining. That picture represents at least 2 tons of river rocks.

I'm not even going to say 'Mantrid post' any more. You guys will believe it when you actually see it, right? I know, I suck. It's almost done. Remember I'm working on part 3 (and maybe something else) while I'm at it, so it's still a thing coming.

Fingers. Hurt. More PT today. In the early morning rainy rain. Chilly, cold rain. Must remember to grab gloves.

And broccoli. Wanna make a cheesy chicken/broccoli/rice hotdish. I toss in bacon and cream cheese and onion powder and other yummy stuff.

Patiently waiting for someone to properly smash Oswald Cobblepott all over Sherlock, and I don't mean Moriarty and Fish.

Me irl hunting for squid ink. What could I possibly want to write in a teeny tiny little book in an alt universe?

purely organic engagement

Tell someone I'm going to bed, then go turn on my blog...

Big long week, big long month. March is booked up and banked out, so as long as I keep my arms inside the ride everything will be fine. Oh, nothing, just careening through the scream sports that is life. Did you guys know you can get physical therapy on your fingertips? And that your brain takes fingertip nerves very seriously? No wonder torture scenes on TV are such a big deal, yanking out fingernails and driving nails into fingers and chopping tips of pinkies off and stuff. May spend March wearing heated gloves around my house, like tiny little heating pads for my fingers.

The rest of this is just observation. I've been so distracted that I failed to notice something important 3 months ago. I was casually glancing down the forum page and did one of those face flops all over my keyboard when I saw this number. How in the world did I miss that?

So I dug around on twitter researching the possibility of linking that day and whadayaknow. By the way, this next snip will click to everything I've ever tweeted out with the word 'syfydesigns' in it.

K, guys, just demo'd what tweet linking can do for you if you do it right. And that's not all. This is what you can achieve if you play around crossing hashtag streams in your tweets.

I feel like the Don Pardo of social media engagement strategies.

Oh, yeah, there was this other thing. I sorta tweeted out this thing

and this guy followed me...

Not saying it's connected or meaningful or anything, but you know, since I've only unfollowed about 1200 people over the last month, just kinda shows up in a coincidentally timed way. Because stuff like this just happens all the time, right? It's twitter.

I really do need some sleep, though.

I know, it was probably a #Snarkalecs thing. But a Lexx fan can dream.

whoa, just bounced right through your screen

I took this pic of my TV, plz to ascuze the blurrrr
I guess I was about due for a dream smash. Between last night's Extant finale (finally caught up), Nygma putting Miss Kringle into the freezer and leaving himself riddles in the Gotham episode Mommy's Little Monster, @bonenado opening a box that came in the mail last night with the first of Christmas, and getting a call last night about my physical therapist needing to cancel and thinking yay I can keep excavating and boiling my house while I listen to music all day, I dreamed Lady GaGa was M.E.volving into a glowy-eyed Mrs. Claus with Molly's cool hair in the ending episode The Greater Good. I wish I could remember more than that, it was pretty elaborate. Pretty sure there was a TAALR pun in there somewhere. (My family will totally get that.)

my own inbox is currently hovering around 1800...
Going through my weekly email deletedeletedelete and ran across someone blogging about something they disapprove of on youtube and then actually posting the youtube. You guys need to figure out you're part of the problem when you keep putting the problem back out there. That's why the problem is going viral. Doi. If you don't like or approve of something on social media, don't share it. You're only promoting someone else's junk for free. One of the biggest social media fails, in my opinion, is the addictive group nature of sharing our disgust. It's a bad habit that promotes dragging other people's days down or inspiring them to pass the drag on. (Ironically, that blog post coming in on a reader alert technically became email spam...) (Also ironically, that's kinda how I got 'famous' in the first place.) (The shared disgust, I mean.) (Ok, carry on.)

This one cracks me up because she kinda looks like my mom
and I was always the one cleaning her kitchen
That's right, I'M CLEANING MY HOUSE, BABY! I have been wrestling with allthethings in my house since Bunny was born, and no matter how diligently I've tried sorting and assigning and re-sorting and reassigning, all the piles keep getting randomly shuffled on moments' notices and you wouldn't believe what I'm finding. Lost mail from July. A wooden spoon that went missing. A refund check from a pharmacy for insurance over payment. 9 pens. I feel like I'm hitting the jackpot rediscovering my kitchen surfaces. Parts of that pile on my long counter were nearly a foot deep. It's amazing how a pile of junk can completely hide a 2 quart saucepan, a corded 2 piece wax warmer, a napkin holder (do people still use napkins?), and my tricep weight bars. You wouldn't believe how many baby bottles and useless cheap sippy cups I've tossed. Well, if you have kids, you probably would. Kudos to people who will be setting out elaborate and beautiful Thanksgiving tablescapes. We'll be dragging up the lawn chairs and spreading food out on the counter I'm cleaning off.

Anyway, now's my chance, the rest of November goes back to slam-fest through physical therapy and other stuffs, so this week has felt like a vacation. I can't believe how bad my arms hurt after that last ASTYM, the first 24 hours felt like my upper arms got super smashed in a mammography machine. They're way better now, couple of problems already resolving, and it feels like breaking through all that gritty scar tissue gave me all kinds of energy. (The carpal tunnel is still hell because I. won't. stop. using. my. hands.) My body loves having something to do, all busy in there scrubbing out the yuck and new cell construction crews all over like they'd been waiting their whole lives for this. And it's so much easier pushing through housework now without so much fatigue lag in my arms. Wow, was looking for ASTYM memes and ran right into myself in image search. That's just crazy.

Yeah, she said my elbows were BAD. I've used my arms like I'm Conan all my life.

It's a good thing no one's here with me, I'd actually yap your brains out today. I'm in one of my bouncy moods. This seems like a great time for finding a jam and bouncing around some more. I'm starting with this one. You guys have a good day!
