things going on before the calendar flips

March 2007

Random photobucket pix for no reason.

Dec. 30, Saturday

Cut 7 inches off my hair. You can't even tell because it was so long. It's still past my shoulder blades. I talk about my hair more on my spaz blog. I mention it sometimes on this blog, too. If you're having hair issues, I seem to be solving mine naturally if you want to look through those link threads.

snapping turtle in our yard, wouldn't let go of the flip flop
Went through my closet and all my drawers for charity donations and discovered that since the gallbladder removal, I'm a size smaller in shirt size now. Nice! (Didn't even lose weight for that, lol. Guess my poor tummy was puffy for a good reason.) I still like big and comfy, but I'm medium chested, so blouses have always fit funny. I might be able to get some sweet clearance blouses at Penney's if I can go down a size now.

I nabbed this many years ago from the original Hampster Dance site
Making chocolate pie for Papa because he's been exceptionally good this week being home with me and Bunny while she's off school. Pudding pies have less sugar than some pies (and way less starch than pastries and cookies!), and I bulk up the eggs from 3 to 5 or 6 (meringue with extra whites and still only a tiny bit of sugar is excellent), and with the milk that's pretty much a chocolate flavored protein pie. I don't do those very often any more, but that's going on today. I'm diabetic and am successfully controlling with diet, which I talk about in several places but lightly recapped into one handy post. I know it's hard, and I really hope I can help. Btw, don't be dumb and plow the pie down too fast. One piece, wait a couple hours before you dive in again. Be smart about controlling your glucose levels.

proof that my husband was not the only person there with a camera taking pix of people they love standing in a line
why this was such a huge deal I'll never understand
Working on a new winter/spring syllabus to get me organizeder around here again. For awhile I was really good at daily/weekly/monthly lists and last couple years those have gotten more and more bombed with real life stuffs, so I need to find a more permanent way to keep my lists in front of my face. Bunny has a little chart... I might need to get me a chart going. She'll be jealous of my stickers. I may need to rethink her little chart because it uses magnets and those are kind of backfiring. She sneaks magnets on. Maybe stickers are the answer.

Watching the fireworks go off around the world on twitter. Wondering if I'll be able to stay up tonight like I hoped. Maybe I can get a nap.

March 2010
I have a long day ahead of me. A new year is nearly here. I can't see my future very well, but I do know that I'm ready to capsize all the boats now. A little toast to 2018, and hopes that I finally say it all. I'm ready to move on to the fun stuff.

order

Today is fun. @bonenado and I have accidentally sabotaged each other so many times already today that nothing is making sense any more, but as always, I loomed and plugged my Borg Queen control in and brought order to chaos.

original pic from here
It started last night. He didn't tell me he started a mega download for a new Tom-Tom so he could avoid my crabbiness at having my game server rug pulled out from under my stress load. Yes, he didn't say a word while I spent 20 minutes trying to execute a single command after game load and relog over and over after kick off and finally gave up. His computer was on all night long, monitor off so I wouldn't be the wiser, and power button blocked so I wouldn't see it glowing in the dark. No biggie, right? So I got up first this morning, wrangled for about 30 minutes trying to get on server, finally just pushed the router reset... Yes, it completely killed that download less than an hour to completion, never to recover.

Couple hours later all the info finally came together as super fail facepalm set in all around. I'm feeling extraordinarily vengeful but staying cool and collected while everything else keeps going wrong all morning, like Bunny abruptly throwing her little ADHD body into a gymnastic contortion and kicking a little cup of snotty cold medicine all over the bedding and my fresh clean clothes in a fine sticky syrupy spray. Like such a tiny amount of that stuff instantly stickified everything in a 2 foot radius, including, somehow, the bottom of my sock. Fun, had to strip the bed and change clothes and she'd barely been up 10 minutes.

Between her snotty cold and her meds, @bonenado's shingles, oncoming snotty cold (thanx, Bunny) and his meds, and my continual monitoring of 5 things happening all at once without rhyme or reason, and retracking #allthethings into one thing after another, like linear time should be, on top of my own stuff (I can feel that snotty cold virus starting up in my left cheekbone, ug), my left eye is twitching like I've been locked in a sanitarium dungeon with spiders on me.

Example. After 20 minutes of Bunny and Papa playing on her scooter and her falling splat into a dead lizard on the road and coming into to wash up, I got her focused onto a Halloween card (colors, stickers) while I set up to make apple pie, which she could help with, because Papa really needed a break. Poor Papa didn't get a clue and tried to divert her from me to a TV show so I can catch a break while I 'work', and during a 5 minute pie assembly Bunny diverted into 3 different things while I was trying to keep her focused on pie, and finally the Borg Queen stomped Papa flat with DO NOT TELL HER TO BRUSH HER TEETH RIGHT NOW. I mean, how did that even come up???

I've said before that I married into a family that reminds me of being thronged by little yappy dogs. Everything is spontaneously moment to moment, often without any thread of visible logic, and every day is a delightful detangling and reordering. But I'm really good at it, and sometimes it's just plain funny, and then there is pie. Pie fixes everything.

The P is for Papa, and Bunny picked the Halloween sprinkles. My house smells lovely like apples and cinnamon, so it's ok if the pie looks weird.

We are screaming down the holiday slide, and I won't be a bit surprised if I find myself flipped off to the side in a daze while the rest of the holidays sling around me in a colorful blur. I'm going to stay home and destress on the game server while Papa goes with Bunny and Mama to a punkin farm this afternoon. I'll chop virtual punkins and rake in more dough (currenly over $2M) while they go get a real punkin and do a corn maze and a bouncy house and stuff.

I could blame all of 2017 on Jeff, actually

"I cannot heal heart, soul, mind, and body while I'm focusing on orchestrating a cheering section for execution festivals." -me

I think that is worth restating once in awhile. No reason.

I've received notice from Google that my "Dare" Lexx Sex Survey can no longer be supported on tumblr. There were 3 specific notations, but each of them clicked to details that were extremely vague and nonspecific. I can't tell if my content material has been hacked and redirects outside of my own web empire, but I'm not at all surprised photobucket might be at the heart of it. This wouldn't be the first time that linking from photobucket caused problems. I can't tell if the post was reported or not, and I wasn't asked to remove the content, but the ultimatum is that particular post will no longer be eligible for AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages)-related features in Google Search. I got ticced 'critical' for invalid stylesheet, invalid layout property found in AMP tag, and prohibited or invalid use of HTML tag. Since I pasted that html directly over from blogger, which is a Google supported format, I'm not understanding what they're pointing out, but from the laborious difficulties I've had with tumblr since I made one, I can only assume that tumblr is the real problem here. And if it was someone reporting content, then I'm really surprised it took so long.

So Bunny is 4 now and there is joy throughout the land. We work on 'homework' sometimes, and she's getting pretty good at doing those cute workbooks you can pick up for pre-K. I've started letting her press the arrow keys to make me move directions in Mo Creatures while I do the steering, but she bumps the 1 a lot when she gets excited and we nearly chopped her bunny in half with my enchanted sword (because it's in first position, if she had pressed 2 it would have been my silver sword for werewolves, 3 my pickaxe, 4 my tree axe, 5 my shovel, 6 my bow and arrows, 7 a block of cobble, 8 a mutton steak, and 9 a torch, but 1 is right by the forward arrow button, egads). I told her be careful so we don't kill the pets, and instantly she was like KILL ALL THE PETS, and I'm all NOOOOOOoooooo... I may have to get her onto singleplayer on a tablet we have around the house. Anyone else know a 4 year old playing minecraft?

I really screwed up my CPAP last night ripping it off in my sleep, so I'm intermittently trying to make up time wearing the mask while I play this morning to make up the 4 hour minimum requirement for insurance. I've got 30 more minutes to go. Night before last, no problem, 6 1/2 hours, so whatever happened last night, no idea. I'm going with 'abducted by Jeff' (People of Earth).

Tomorrow is @bonenado's birthday. I made a birthday pie. I think that's the first time I've ever made an apple pie with confetti sprinkles. Bunny is really big on sprinkles.

I'm in dual mode lately, super bumbly and disconnected on the outside, super focused and humming along quietly on the inside. Still having problems with my feet, and the only way I can handle walking at all is in athletic shoes. The second they're off it's like I have different feet. I discovered yesterday that this complaint goes clear back to March, so that's pre-baclofen and I can't keep blaming the med for me noticing it more, another plus for somewhat daily blogging or journaling, guys. All I know for real is that after Christmas I started asking for med help and it's backfired twice, but underneath it all the nerve problems continue no matter what I do or try. So I'm kinda relaxing and going with ok, we're either in a setback year or defaulting into a new progression, but the important thing is that I'm still functioning on my own and still mostly keeping up with the basics around the house. I even cleaned floors this last weekend and recovered more quickly than expected, so something is still going right. I'm eating salads several times a week, getting more raw veg in my diet kind of thing (I love cauliflower and radishes) and I super avoided all the bad birthday carbs, so I haven't done any crashing through all this stuff. We're all noticing that using my laptop in bed is helping my stress levels a LOT. It keeps my legs up, keeps me resting, and keeps me out of the way while other people do the fretting, lol. I'm able to hopefully keep being a nicer person like this. I'd almost feel weird about all this 'bed rest' except that I've stopped taking naps now with the CPAP, so if I'm not laying down during the days like I used to, what's the difference if I'm sitting in bed working or at least accomplishing tasks on a game server, right?

That is the hayfield across the street from my house. Those weeds along the street are as tall as my head. My allergies this year are horrible. I wonder why... lol. The guy that originally owned that used to keep it all mowed down and it was really beautiful. He got old and finally died, last we heard the lot had sold, and since that lot is empty we assumed a house would be going up. Well, that was a couple years ago and we haven't seen anything since, and the field is neglected. The deer love it. So do the other critters. Big snake year, must be a boom in mice.

So I'm working on the whole big picture now with my psychologist, why Pinky showed up, how 'we' all tied together after blowing apart for so long, pretty much the story of psychological scarring and healing as a person on autism spectrum. It's complicated and full of sad-scary-funny and very soon now I hope it's a real thing on shelves. I've been 'out' as autistic for over ten years now, and out since about 2014 or so about all my internet history.

I had a weird mental picture yesterday of running into a particular person (not from around my area or family) again if I wind up traveling for marketing or something and how that could conceivably blow up into a big deal, and then I started wondering if that guy is still even alive since he was taking over another drug lord's territory in a huge city when he was still only 17 years old, already on the run from another state. I mean, would it be awkward? I used to hang out with him and his girlfriend and watch TV in their apartment. I have a long list of people I wonder about, many of them either off the grid or living double lives or simply just cut off from former families and friends because huge life changes over orientations and stuff. Other people I simply just haven't kept up with but still find on the webs apparently living pretty normal lives. People are people are people.

Pinky Robot isn't that kind of robot

coconut meringue, toasted like a giant marshmallow

The throbbing headache is finally gone, sure hope it stays that way. Although I usually blame not being able to move around for pain that bad, I was surprised to find during a quick search that radioactive dye can also lend to some pretty rough joint pain. My worst 'joint' is C1, so maybe it was affected.

Coming off that amount of pain sometimes leaves me a bit disenchanted, even if I'm actually feeling way better. I guess old brain chemicals are still seeping out the ol' coils after percolating around the pain. I'm ticked 50 different ways over nothing, and not even coffee is helping. I'd also considered part of the headache might be caffeine withdrawal since I cut my coffee in half this last week, but the headache was gone before the first coffee of the day, so maybe not.

Woops, said that all too soon. I had to get up from here because a pull in my back set the throb off again. So, super fibro flare it is. It's ok though, moving around helped immediately. My physical therapy training wasn't wasted.

Insert: I'm glad I cut my own hair. I have an awesome shag and my bedhead looks fantastic.

I got this email alert last night. Since I don't have an account with these guys, and since they handed me a password, you know all my cat toy alerts went off.

A quick search on that dot-org pulled this forum thread up. "I am planning for massive web spam and want to make sure my assets are safe." Um... So I looked at home page. My favest thread title is "100% Content Automation [Looks Human-Written & Passes Copyscape] intelligent software". I just lol'd. omg, there is so much crap out there. The whole world is fake and everyone's making money on it. Plastic all around us, all methaphors included.

Compared to THAT, statcounter is like sucking on a sugar cube, there's just no nutritional value whatsoever. I've been playing nice with my trackers. I put a harder hitting tracker on for about a week maybe what, a year ago? And I couldn't hide it and IPs shot out of it like neon for everyone to see, so I removed it. I could piddle around in the darker recesses but they'd want more money than statcounter ever got out of me, so I'm this close to just letting that go and flying blind for awhile. Numbers jump and drop and I can pretty much see certain percentages of incoming staying steady over time, app bugs poking around not really making a dent in the actual load numbers, and real time hits from link shares have been surprising successful, so I guess it's a matter of letting go of an obsessive tic on my end. Checking stats is like people checking social media on dinner dates, it's a bit repulsive if it's automatic. So I'm going to start practicing NOT looking. Statcounter expires in March, and then I might just delete it. All the info I might want to save can easily be copy/pasted or screen shot.

As for that dot-org busting into my email trying to tell me what to do, that was a blatant invitation to surf the outer edges of wide out in the open doorway to darker webs, and personally, it feels like a foolish move. Flies going in get eaten by spiders (spydars), and they have nothing I want. There's no fun in making fake content for fake readers, I don't care if it makes me a jillionaire. I cherish one real reader at a time making their way through real content because it touches something personal.

Yesterday was a small venison roast. I think today I might look into shrimp with some kind of homemade Mexican rice or something. I've got a tomato, a bit of bell pepper, and a few olives. Just remembered I also have some taco meat frozen back. Who knows how far this could go.

All the rest would be awesome falling back into place- Bunny back in daycare, @bonenado back at work, getting all our $$ sorted for taxes- but *boop* the heater blower blew out in Scott's car and just missed warranty by that much, so here we go, it's below freezing around the clock and time to scrape up some money. It wouldn't feel right if something wasn't going wrong, would it? Thankfully, he can take my car.

It's all good.

Oh, forgot to mention my mixer nearly caught on fire making that meringue yesterday, so now I'm looking at mixers.

Day 25- last of 2016 30 day challenge

Is it over yet?

I'm kidding, lol. Well...

This was the only picture I got yesterday. Papa is zoned out watching the Vikes. He had already canceled Red Zone.

But I did get this video, huzzah!

Unless it gets rescheduled again, Bunny gets her tonsils out in a few days. Merry Christmas!

Coffee isn't doing a thing for me this morning. I should take advantage of the quiet and hit the couch until @bonenado gets up and finds out I totally dropped the ball getting him anything. For realz. Well, he's still got some pie left, that counts for something, right? Yes, I feel guilty. The one year I finally get Christmas all done early and it's not all scrambled up in my head, I forget my favorite guy in the whole world, and he gives me the moon.

🎄🎅 He doesn't know I have a package of coconut, though... His fave pie is coconut cream.

I have no idea what this guy is saying, but I hope it's really about pie, lol.

connexions

This cracks me up.

I almost never even go over there. (That clicks to LinkedIn.) If I took myself more seriously over there I'd probably scare people. I mean, can you imagine?

Conceived on a motorcycle.
Trained in exsanguination and dismemberment.
Skilled with knives and keyboards.

Experience:
Controlled burns, dispatching varmints and troublemakers.
Wrasslin bunnies.
I also make a darn good apple pie.

Projects:
Reallocating space in my spaceship.
Formatting the latest live tweet review.

Skills and Endorsements-
Top Skills:
Knowing when to stop and take a nap.
Juggling chainsaws and eggs.

Pinky also knows about:

Thrown in the deep end of the pond.
Leap clear if you can't find the brakes on the tractor. #tuckandroll

Additional Info:
We just got a new roof so you might not reckonize the house on a google map now.

Following:
Many skilled magicians and thieves.

It's tempting. But a few of my connections take themselves a little more seriously than that, and, indeed, world dominate, so I don't want to be reassessed as property value fail by association.

Back to today! Yes, I made pie.

Day 2 of @bonenado's alarm not going off, we suspect Bunny tampering sometime during that 14-hour day. I also magically put on 2 pounds that day that aren't coming back off. Who knows what other surprises giggle in the dark waiting for us to find them.

I also got more spaceship work done yesterday. Behold my new work station. I promptly bumped something off behind the dresser, @bonenado says my loss, so today I need to figure out a bumper system where the gap of death vanishes. Temp solution is rolled towels, but I'm sure that'll be a fail sooner or later.

After I moved my work station I majorly found the kitchen table again, and today I'll be wreaking havoc on a buried counter that caught the flotsam and jetsam during the first big reallocation wave.

One of the biggies about my new work station is that I'll be able to stay on my feet and work. I moved around a LOT more yesterday. I mean, I'm always moving around, I'm the person that pauses Tosh every 5 minutes to jump up, right? But I've got two main grinders to get through this week, one being the live tweet review, and I simply cannot sit through that without neck and shoulder death and risking spiky headaches. One of the nicer changes after TWD left off last season was noticing my pain level went down because I was doing less force-work. So we'll see how I handle s6 standing up. The key to good standing work is a really good pair of athletic shoes, and I'm all over that.

I made the executive decision yesterday to stop being polite. I've mentioned in past that I don't have a natural timer in my head and often go down rabbit holes, forgetting to eat or never noticing the time passing in my enthusiastic jaunts into superfocus. I've worked very hard on learning to be polite. I've recently dissected exactly what that is to aspienado, and I think it's best if I stop doing what doesn't come naturally to me in places I shouldn't even venture. I still have DMs and PMs from several people sitting in a sort of pending hell because, and I keep saying this, I suck at being friends. There are exactly 5 people in this world, not counting actual family, that can reach me any time, and I'm good with that because they don't. They don't bug me with texting or phone calls, and they totally get that messaging through social media isn't a frivolity. I would love to be able to rank and filter inboxes on social media, that really is the biggest fail of networking. Kelly says scarcity, I say inaccessibility. 'Strict filtering' and 'only friends' is as vague as 'everyone I happen to be in line with at the water plunge ride in a theme park'.

Ah, yes, I jumped off the dissection. Do you know how much time goes by during typical social convos? 80% of interaction is pleasantries and word dance routines. My kids are allowed to bump me off track any time, but since I hilariously fail to unmute my phone half the time, 'any time' is kind of like 'whenever I happen to notice 2 hours later'. And then when we do get the phones bzzt bzzt bzzt-ing, they don't expect me to 'chat' or ask how their day was. They also know one wrong move can launch me into power point or Cthulhu from the abyss, so they don't prompt or poke me for response. Oh, I'll respond...

Anyway, if something's not working, stop doing it, right? And messaging isn't working for me. I don't have time to check out a new tv show someone says I'll love, I don't have time to put the brakes on ALL THE THINGS wondering wtf is this weird question about how I could be more supportive of a college student in another country having a bad day before finals (yes, seriously) (I apparently need sensitivity training for anguished souls who feel locked into doom by cruel parents), I don't have the time to juggle several real time unrelated dramas about who isn't talking to whom while I myself am grieving a loss (this actually seems to be a life theme, I may have to investigate this karmic riddle), and I certainly don't have the time to 'check out this bio' from a complete stranger who insists on using me as a step ladder. I mean, that one's a given, right? Here you go, a fun little game.

Yes, serious about the skyping sexploit thing. You people need to realize that as long as I don't name names and point fingers, I can talk about that all I want, right? It's a free country and this is my blog. I'm getting a little rankled by how many of you tease famous people, like it's an attention game or something, and then turn around and privately rip them like they're so awful when you're the ones starting the crap. What's really disturbing is how many times this has happened just in the last year to the same actor. Good lord, people. Call yourselves fans? That's not even cool. And I'm not talking about the actual skyping content, I'm talking about the laughing behind the back thing. >=l Pisses me off. See what you did there? You made it about ME. So now I hafta use Pinky blog for a #reoribraintation. (Get it? Reorientation. Never mind.)

Anyway, rulz. Whenever aspienado winds up in a spinning wheels in the mud kind of rut, aspienado extricates and flings mud before zooming off. I could go count and link the times I've said stop, but I have better things to do. My new rule is ignore, and that's really hard for a speed reading aspienado with a very serious reading compulsion. (That was a confession.) You know why I write so much? So I can stop reading.

If you or someone you know needs to chat on social media ~right now~, there's not a support group for that. Yes, I'm one of the worst when it comes to continual broadcasting, but I'm not bugging you guys to respond. I keep saying keep trying if you need someone to talk to, but that doesn't mean commandeer someone by cornering them in private until they feel the need to cut the relationship off. I'm saying this to at least 12 of you, and not just about me. I'll confess right here that I've been the worst in the past, and I had to learn the hard way myself why. that. doesn't. work. Trying to force explanations out of people is no replacement for good old fashioned reasoning something out yourself.

One observation I've made on social media is that people I've known in forums and facebook and whatevs are still saying the exact same thing ten years later. Seriously. I can't even imagine looking back ten years and not seeing personal growth and change. I can't imagine another year of stagnation. 2013 felt like serious stagnation to me. It was the year I yapped the most on twitter.

Need a work jam so I can pull my eyes off. Gotta keep moving. FOCUS! GET TO WORK!!!

kinda leaning toward blueberry

Every month there is a statistical amount of crap we must all go through. We got smart and filled out one of those little forms so we could get our crap scheduled out more conveniently.

Internet goes out. Scott: This says 2 days. I can't do 2 days, I've got a draft coming up. Me: See if they'll let us spread it out, like one of those blinky things. You can be at work so it's no big deal, but then it works for some reason when you get home. Scott: Ok, and how about get it out of the way before the big draft? Me: Your stress relief is my stress relief. check

Bunny gets nasty stomach bug. Me: Um, you said you're off Friday? How about then? Scott: I was wanting to get some stuff done around the yard. Me: But it coincides nicely with running up to the hardward store. Scott: And I see it's supposed to rain, too, so that'll be half a day wasted. Friday it is. check

Toilet explodes. Me: Is there any way we can work that into everything else and just get this done all at once? Scott: Ok, how about this- we get a call about Bunny, I vacuum real good first and then the toilet explodes just as I'm ready to walk out the door so it won't flood the house while I'm gone. Me: That's perfect because I would have have just deep cleaned the bathroom a couple days before that, so it'll be a cinch to mop up. Scott: Oh, for YOU, I've gotta mop up the basement. Me: Well, it's still good timing. Scott: I agree. check

I seem to be doing the same thing with really weird dreams, too, like alla sudden just weird after weird after weird. Woke up at 3 a.m. from a little gem out of the blue where my liver had collected $3 mil worth of silver crust around it (they took it out and showed it to me, I even got to hold it and show my sister), then they put it back in but couldn't do anything about it and said I had only 2 or 3 days, and I decided it would be a waste to die with all that silver in me, so I was getting ready to have it removed (and die) so my family could get the money out of it. Weird.

Tomorrow is a very special Pi Day at 3/14/15 at 9:26:53, this from wikipedia-
In the year 2015, Pi Day will have special significance on 3/14/15 at 9:26:53 a.m. and p.m., with the date and time representing the first 10 digits of Ï€.

We'll probably celebrate with a real pie of some kind, like lots of people do.

And if you know someone whose birthday is on Pi Day, maybe go for pi cake!

Or, if you're like me and suddenly wonder if Pi Day means you have everlasting pie that can be cut into tinier and tinier pieces and whether that might have anything to do with a Koch curve, you wind up in weird places like this. I can't help it, I'm a Koch curve enthusiast.

Back to pi drama!

shoe coasters and pie

This.

Scott is one of those compulsive neat freaks that rearranges the basement every little bit. Our walk in closet is spotless. I've been teasing him for years about needing shoe coasters because I keep finding his shoes on top of mine, and it doesn't matter how muddy or grungy his shoes are, they wind up stacked neatly on top of my dress shoes and very expensive asics gels every time he unconsciously 'straightens'. I like neatly lining my shoes up, but I often scatter them into different areas of the house so they can catch a break and remain stack-free. I'm so used to this now it doesn't bother me, but the slippers caught my eye yesterday and cracked me up. Whole big bedroom, lots of empty floor in there...

This is what I'm talking about in fantasy baseball. Nobody has figured out yet who Joe Namath's Coat is, and he's stomping robot butt.
 photo bad.jpg

I'm nearing the end of the prednisone taper, 3 more days and hopefully I'm done. I conked for half an hour last night and then suddenly was wide awake again for several hours. I tried everything, but the only thing that finally got me nodding off again was, weirdly, a cup of coffee (at midnight) and getting into the aged gouda I picked up yesterday. If you have never tried aged gouda, it's totally worth it, even at $20 a pound.

I'm also trying new coffee from a local gourmet roaster in Eureka Springs (also known as "Little Switzerland in the Ozarks"), click this logo to check out their site. I ground the beans fresh myself yesterday at Mama Jean's (I got the breakfast blend) and the first brew is already one of the loveliest coffees I've ever had, and I have tried a LOT of coffees.

Not getting paid to link any of that, lol, just sharing.

Good thing I couldn't sleep last night, got a late call, burrito's daycare is closed tomorrow because fever spike and sickie stuff, so today is a burrito day at my house, yay! I'm really good at early mornings, so I popped up when Scott got up for work at 4 and had a pie out by 5:30. YUM! Scott loves pecan pie and it's a rare thing around here because of my across the board nut allergy. I'm actually only confirmed on peanut and cashews (both real bad), but since most nuts are processed in a facility that also processes those other two, I am automatically exposed to severe allergens just being around any nuts in any form, including makeups and lotions. Thankfully, I can snip the pecans open and stir them in without having to touch them (but I still wash my hands after handling the package to be on the safe side), and voila, today we have pie.

Need to leave the house in a few minutes to get burrito. I'm ready!
